Project Description

A project was completed and worked successfully to ensure that clay did not shrink around the footings of a house of the The Owl House at Lamberhurst. Sensors in the ground monitored the amount of water present.

This proved to be a very cost effective solution costing £2,000 as opposed to the expensive method of underpinning. Probes were inserted in the ground to close the watering cycle when field saturation was reached.
